Former Gymnasts Show Support for Simone Biles. Here's Why

As a former Olympian gymnast, Moceanu has a unique perceptive of what Biles is going through and she offered her full support for the 24-year-preceding's decision while lamenting the fact that she was not given the same opportunity during her time in the Olympics. She wrote that Biles' "decision demonstrates that we have a tell in our ain health—'a read' I Ne'er felt I had as an Olympian."

Biles' decision to step away is not exactly neat for her — but as wel good for other Olympians and athletes WHO can take example of what she's done and rise for themselves when they are physically or mentally unable to contend.

"When you fall back your power to find the ground—which appears to be part of @Simone_Biles determination—-the consequences can be ruinous. She made the right decisiveness for the team & herself."
